VA Illiana Health Care System in Danville, Illinois serves veterans from a 34-county area in Central Illinois and western Indiana. In addition to our main medical center in Danville, we offer a number of services to our patients in five community-based outpatient clinics.
Public Transportation Information
The VA Medical Center is on the Danville bus line; departures and arrivals are scheduled frequently throughout the day. The pick-up and drop-off is located in front of Building 98 at the main entrance of the medical center. Other pick up shelters are located in front of Building 58, 101, and 102. For your convenience and safety, we have special waiting areas throughout the facility. Please do not gather in the hallways or at the nurses' stations. You may also want to review our Visiting Hours and Policies.
Security
VA Illiana Health Care System has a Police Service. Our officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance during normal business hours, please dial 45146. In case of an emergency, dial 45000. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.
Because the VA Medical Center is federal property, all persons and bags are subject to search. In addition, no weapons, alcohol, or illegal drugs are permitted.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found is located in Building 102, Room 101E in Logistics Service. You may also contact them at extension 45023.
Chapel
A nondenominational chapel is located on the second floor of Building 98. Protestant Worship Services and Catholic Mass are held on a regular basis. Please contact Chaplain Service at extension 44531for additional information or to speak with one of our Chaplains.
