Women Veterans Get Their Own Place for Care

VA Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS) opened the clinic in March 2010.

The clinic is designed to meet the specific health care needs of women Veterans.

Vanessa J. Rainey, Women Veterans Program Coordinator describes the clinic as "one-stop shopping", a place where women Veterans can get annual exams and gender-specific tests.

Women’s Health Care Clinic Open House at VA Illiana Health Care System

VA Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS) will have an open house for women Veterans on Tuesday, November 9th.  There will be three sessions held at 9 a.m., 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The purpose of the open house is to provide women Veterans the opportunity to learn about the services available including primary care, specialized care for chronic conditions and reproductive health care services.
