Danville, IL — Representatives from the VA Illiana Health Care System will be at the Illinois State Fair from 10:00 a.m until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 15.
Veterans will have the opportunity to enroll in the VA health care system and learn more about the services and programs available at the VAIHCS. COVID vaccines will also be available for Veterans, their spouses, and caregivers. Informational resources will be available about women veteran health services and mental health services.
Veterans who are would like to enroll to receive VA services or to receive the COVID vaccine should bring their DD 214 and another form of identification. Veteran’s spouses and caregivers who would like to receive the COVID vaccine will need to present an ID.
Sunday is Veterans and Gold Star Families Day at the State Fair. Veterans and their immediate family members can attend the fair for free and receive discounted ride passes
