Bob Michel VA Outpatient Clinic Receive Donation

On December 7, 2013, Calvin Carter, Administrative Officer for the Community Based Outpatient Clinics of the VA Illiana Health Care System, received a check in the amount of $10,000 from Tee It Up For the Troops. Steve Carver, a committee member for the Tee It Up For the Troops, presented this check and several others to Veteran organizations from the Peoria area before an audience of about one thousand guardsmen from the 182nd Airlift Wing. Tee It Up For the Troops is a non-profit organization that has raised and donated nearly five million dollars for military family support programs across the country since its establishment in 2005. The fund raising military golf outing has been hosted in Peoria-area golf courses since 2009. In past years, the Tee It Up Fort the Troops organization has provided significant monetary donations for explicit use to purchase equipment/supplies that support the physical therapy clinic at the Bob Michel VA Outpatient Clinic in Peoria, Illinois.
